Paige + Josh

Another gorgeous wedding celebration at Aldworth Manor in Harrisville, New  Hampshire. It’s one of Florian and I’s all time favorite venues. Every time we step on the property we are discover something new, some hidden gem of history and beauty that inspires us. Nestled in the hills of what feels a bit like nowhere, it feels like a world of its own. With its two big houses for family and guests to stay we always have the feeling that when we arrive people feel at home.

Paige and Joshua are two of the kindest people you could hope to meet. Loved by their friends and family and openly affectionate to everyone in their orbit. Their first look was tender and full of tears. With so many opportunities for gorgeous pictures we took the time to wander the grounds as well as to explore the winding maze like manor. With unfinished rooms and winding stair cases, I could spend hours weaving in and out of those endless floors of texture and etherial light.

A simple, tender ceremony. In the middle of the manors ample garden, set among the trees with a view of the near by mountains Paige and Joshua said their vows and were married. As the two marched down the aisle hand in hand, bride and groom, husband and wife, a celebratory mood descended and festivities began.

What can feel more fitting for a warm summer evening in a world all to its self than cocktails and lawn games? With the sound of upbeat music hanging in the air and the smell of food being cooked Paige and Joshuas guests laughed and played and caught up with one another.

With the sun slowly setting in the sky and the mood of the afternoon moving toward the evening events, The wedding guests made their way into the warmly lit tent. Food was served and as people sat together breaking bread, the bride and groom mingled and heard loving words from those closest to them.

At the pinnacle of that golden light show that summer offers up, Paige and Josh went out for a few private moments together to take it all in. A favorite time of couples to come together and capture a few more tender moments before the shoes come off and the dancing starts in earnest!

To dance and celebrate and really let your self be free is a beautiful thing. Under a tent surrounded by stars and a warm night breeze, the long and beautiful day almost at an end. Dancing always feels such an appropriate way to spend those last few hours of a day filled with so much emotion and beauty!
