A wedding with so much love, so much focus on family and friends all coming together can be nothing but amazing, and so it was. Not only was it beautiful and filled with love and tears but it was a perfect sunny day at Glen Magna Farms with its Greek styled gardens, blooming flowers and stone colonnades. Nathalie and Alex being down to earth and focused on being in the moment were so fun to photograph as they exuded happiness and a feeling of gratefulness that they had found each other in this big world we live in!
Nathalie and Alex’s first look was nestled away under a giant willow tree. I know words like whimsical and fairy tale might be used here but the first thing that comes to my mind when I think of their secret spot is Peter Pan. It had a feeling of playing hide and seek, of playfulness and fun.
The gardens at Glen Magna Farms are honestly one of the most beautiful I’ve seen. Winding paths, bright flowers, and fountains surrounded Nathalie and Alex’s ceremony. Officiated by Alex’s step father, the words spoken were beautiful and personal. Of course these two also wrote their own vows that brought down the house with happy tears.
With no lack of greenery and trails to meander down, when it came time to couple portraits we were able to explore and play some more. Wedding portraits can be one of the most enjoyable parts of the day. It give the couple time to sneak away and while I am there photographing their interaction the get dedicated time to be in each others arms and to laugh and talk. I always love this part of the day!
As for mentioned, This pair wanted to focus celebrating with their loved ones! What better way than to laugh, play and dance the night away!!
